In front of a packed grandstand at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps, Paul Rees stepped into his souped-up 911 GT3 hoping to take victory in round 7 of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and lift him into the top tier of the Drivers Championship. Unfortunately the win eluded him, instead going to youngseter Jaminet, but Paul still maintains a respectable mid-ranking 15th out of 30.

This Sunday could see Paul fight back though, with the glitz and glamour of Milan’s Monza racetrack, and one of the most exciting venues of the season. Paul will have his work cut out though, as this is Junior Cairoli’s local racetrack and he will have to work hard to overtake on this 5.8km speed-demon of a course, but with some gentle screaming from GWM and his supporters, we’re sure he will do the GWM brand proud!
The final rounds 9 & 10 are to be held in Austin, Texas at the famous Circuit of the Americas on October 21st – 23rd. Once more Paul can be assured of the total support of us here at Guardian… Good luck!
