Guardian Wealth Management’s Middle East presence has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and as we continue to invest and integrate into the region, it’s clear to see one growing demographic in particular that is seemingly ignored; professional female expats.
Current trends indicate women are living longer than men, and so there is usually a part of their life in which they must live independently. Add to this they are more likely to take career breaks to start families, causing a dip in salary, it is essential that women receive the high quality financial advice.
“The financial needs of women are often different to men. And, in many cases, they shy away from obtaining advice in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
GWM's Women Like Us caters specifically to professional female expats.
GWM’s women only team can collaborate better with their female counterparts and provide personalised financial advice based on their requirements".
In response to this, GWM created a female only advice division – For women, by women and the exclusive networking group, Women Like Us which brings together professional women to socialise, share ideas and build friendships in relaxed elegant surroundings. Combining the two with an extensive online and offline campaign has helped to raise awareness of the issues faced by women significantly.
”It’s sometimes hard to find female networking events which suit individual style and taste, but the ‘Women Like Us’ events definitely tick these boxes and I’m eagerly looking forward to the next event”
