With a career in financial planning that spans over 35 years, David has seen many changes in the investment and regulatory landscape. Since forming Guardian Wealth Management in 1994 with joint CEO John Hasberry, David has witnessed the company grow in both size and reputation. Drawing on their collective experience from the UK and EU, the pair initially set up offices in Geneva before progressively expanding with the opening of regional hubs in the Far and Middle East, and more recently the US.
David is proud of the reputation GWM has built; based on trust, progression and respect for its clients and their requirements, and is now focussed on implementing a lifestyle financial planning model in line with developed markets such as the UK, across every jurisdiction where GWM operate.
Away from GWM, David has worked as a local magistrate and undertaken a number of charitable adventures, such as cycling in India, and trekking the Rift Valley for a BBC documentary that took a class of troubled children from the UK to Tanzania.
