04.10.2011
With the annual Women’s International Networking event being held later this week, our advisors here at Guardian Wealth Management are highlighting the importance of wealth management and the incorporation of retirement planning into this strategy – especially for expat women. We’re excited to be attending the event and look forward to being able to help expat women to focus their wealth management strategies in the right direction. We’ll also be offering vital information regarding retirement planning, including advice on pensions.
Wealth Management Issues Facing Expat Women
For expat women, there are many changes and uncertainties in their lives that can have an impact on the retirement planning aspect of their wealth management strategy – and for expat women who have been living and working abroad for many years, the need to review their wealth management strategy and retirement planning is even more vital.
The issues surrounding expat women and their wealth management strategy are many, but particular focus falls on retirement planning due to potential disruption in the flow and regularity of payments being made into their retirement planning schemes, namely pensions. This can be due to short-term contracts, expat women moving between countries for work, and career breaks. Good retirement planning is essential in order for expat women to have peace of mind that they will have the funds available to enjoy a happy retirement.
The Women’s International Networking event, held this year on the 5th – 8th October in Rome, looks to tackle issues facing expat women and to provide information and networking opportunities across the expat women community. As well as acting as sponsors for the event, Guardian Wealth Management’s European Director, Gavin Pluck, will be hosting a fantastic workshop to offer expat women advice for building a successful wealth management strategy. The workshop will look at both obstacles and solutions to many aspects of wealth management, including retirement planning, and help expat women to achieve financial success.
