The Robin Cosgrove Prize promotes greater awareness among young people throughout the world of the benefits of strengthening ethical approaches in all aspects of finance. The vision of the Prize contributes to strengthening the foundations and good quality management of banking and finance based on trust and integrity, especially in emerging markets. The Prize has a global vision, applicable throughout the world.

Robin Cosgrove Prize invites young people, to submit written papers setting out innovative ideas to promote ethics in finance and banking which is something that Guardian Wealth Management feels strongly about.

Robin Cosgrove was a bright young investment banker when he sadly died at age 31. Robin worked internationally, spending much of his professional life in Asia. He came to believe passionately that a major barrier to economic development was the lack of integrity and ethical practice in the banking and financial systems. He was also convinced that the banking community would be under increasing pressure to serve the common good as well as its own specific interests, and that the best way for sustainable profitability would be through stronger ethical practices. Had Robin lived, he intended to set up a foundation to promote ethical financing, targeted especially to young people in or coming from less-advantaged countries.
