Isle of Man QROPS

Isle of Man QROPS

Isle of Man was one of the main financial centres that offered Qrops. A number of leading Qrops providers operated from there.

The UK changed its legislation in respect to Qrops and Isle of Man was removed as a jurisdiction. This resulted in any new clients being unable to use Isle of Man based schemes.

If you are an existing client of an Isle of Man scheme and feel unsure or concerned please contact us on [email protected] and one of our advisors will be made available to talk to you.

If the UK Government changes the Isle of Man’s status again in the future we will update the changes here for you to view.

If you are someone thinking of transferring a pension into a Qrops it is absolutely crucial that you seek independent financial advice. Legislation, schemes and rules change and for most it is increasingly difficult to make sure they know exactly what they can and can’t do. The change of Isle of Man’s status is the perfect example of how quickly changes can come about.

The only people who are completely up to date are the professionals. If you need any assistance at all on this matter and whether or not a Qrops is right for you please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
