Vincent Jones MBE MA | Non-Executive Chairman
Vincent’s final appointment was as Head of Profession for all Instructional Officer grades within the MOD. During this time he gained his MA in Human Resource Development at Huddersfield University. On retirement Vincent became an Associate of Ashridge Business School, involved in various government programmes working with organisations to develop their business expertise in strategic planning, resource management, marketing, the implementation of audit processes and quality standards.
Vincent has brought his wide experience in business management to Guardian Wealth Management (GWM) as the Non-Executive Chairman where he provides the support necessary to create an organisation that can be seen as the most respected financial solutions company in the world.
John Hasberry | Chief Executive Officer
John Hasberry is co-founder of Guardian Wealth Management and holds the title of Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to Guardian Wealth Management, John was a Sales Director at a blue chip UK company.
John is responsible for enhancing internal processes and infrastructure to allow the organisation to continue to grow and achieve its objectives. John is fully qualified to work as an Independent Financial Advisor. John’s personal philosophy of hard work and endeavour has helped mould the firm into a successful entity across a variety of jurisdictions. Coupled with this his ability to succeed and inspire others have contributed greatly to the success of the firm.
David Howell | Chief Executive Officer
David and John Hasberry founded Guardian Wealth Management 17 years ago, offering financial advice to clients both in the UK and abroad.
He has been a magistrate for over 14 years as well as chairman of the bench. He was also chairman of the Leeds branch of the Institute of Financial Planners and is actively involved in a number of charities. David has also served within the Territorial Army.
Gavin Pluck | Regional Director
As an experienced International IFA, he has developed and conducted numerous financial seminars and workshops around the globe with many specialising in Financial Management from an International perspective.
Originally tasked with opening and building the Switzerland office Gavin now heads up a team of 50 consultants across a number of jurisdictions within the European Division of Guardian Wealth Management.
With over 20 years industry experience in senior management Gavin is well positioned to ensure the company meet its full potential.
Sharon Pearson | Business Operations Director
As a positive and hardworking professional, Sharon joined the company in 2005 and has been fundamental in developing the back-office infrastructure to assist the business to grow and meet the ever demanding needs of the marketplace.
Sharon’s commitment to client satisfaction and her experience within the Financial Services sector, having worked for major banking groups such as Lloyds TSB and Standard Chartered Bank, have made Sharon an asset to the GWM team and helped to make it the company it is.
Iain Howell | Finance Director
Iain is responsible for the day to day finance operations of the world wide entities. Iain Howell joined from consumer electronics company Sharp Electronics where he was Director of Finance. Iain brings with him a wealth of international experience gained from working at United Biscuits and Kidde plc. Iain has a BSc in Mathematics and is also a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. Iain is currently studying at London Business School on their Executive MBA programme which involves intensive study and professional development.
Leighton Jones | Regional Director
Leighton joined GWM within the first year of entry into Mainland Europe, working predominantly with ARICSA, the retiree’s association for the United Nations.
Leighton then found his specialism within the Oil and Gas sectors, culminating in him overseeing the formation of Guardian’s Middle East Headquarters in Qatar and regional office in Dubai.
Also responsible for the company’s training and development strategy, Leighton has helped to set a new benchmark of qualification within offshore financial services, ensuring that all Financial Planners are qualified to at least CISI Level 4 within 24 months of joining the company. These external, recognised qualifications are supplemented by a range of internal examinations and competency modules to promote excellence in client advice and service.
