I am seriously thinking about moving my career overseas but which area is best for me?
Good question, both areas benefit from Guardian’s brand being established for many years along with comprehensive marketing to make sure people continue to know about our services. Again both regions have fantastic climates not only for your spare time but it actually makes you feel good going to work. Both areas have excellent potential for business as they have large expatriate populations. Our offices in the regions are modern environments to work and are based in strategic central locations. The remuneration packages are the same.
Our training and development is the same for both regions and we support our staff to become successful with regular one to ones with our regional management team as well as support through the process to become a chartered wealth manager if you are not already.
Quite often the answer just comes down to each individual's personal preference, think about factors such as do I need to be closer to the UK for personal or other reasons? Do I have contacts or family in the region? Do I think the European climate and lifestyle will suit me better? Do I want to explore a completely different part of the world? Do I want a complete change from Europe? Does taking all my earnings completely tax free appeal above other factors? Am I a beach person? Am I a skiing person?
