Will Myers, Head of Sports Marketing at GWM, played master of ceremonies and the evening was rounded off with an auction of World Cup memorabilia, flown in from the UK, and a raffle of donated prizes from the supporting hotels. Afterwards, Keys and Gray mingled with delighted fans.

The biggest draw on the night were a pair of signed Maradona and Pele shirts. Handing over the cheque to Omar Al Twaissi of QCS, were Esme Tarn and Heather Sye, financial para-planners at GWMQ, who said, ‘we want to offer a big thank you to Andy and Richard and to Chris Myers, GM of Doha Golf Club, for being so generous with the venue. With the co-operation of many people and businesses in Doha, it is fantastic to be able to five so much to a charity which benefits all of Qatar.”
