Singing our way into W.I.N
Guardian Wealth Management is delighted to be sponsoring the Global Women’s International Networking (W.I.N) Conference for the 5th year in a row.
Guardian Wealth Management is a staunch believer that women should not have to compromise their financial independence by having to decide between their career or family and it was this passion for female finance that has made the company proud to be part of W.I.N over the past five years.
Around 750 women are expected to attend the conference on 2-5 October in Prague, Czech Republic, where Guardian Wealth Management’s very own senior financial consultant Majbritt Byskov-Bridges will be hosting her popular workshop on helping women set financial objectives.
Indeed our multi-skilled Majbritt has the honour of singing at the opening ceremony to formally open the conference.
Majbritt has a particular interest in protecting the financial future of women and believes that the key to women achieving their life goals and aspirations is to put in place a financial plan.
She says: “Women often feel torn between family and professional life, but with careful planning any decisions made should not impact the ability to achieve financial goals, be it a luxury holiday or a debt-free retirement. From personal experience, women who understand and embrace the particular financial pitfalls they face have a higher success rate when it comes to financial independence.”
Majbritt says “nobody plans to fail, they simply fail to plan.” As an international professional woman herself, Majbritt is fully aware of the pressures and constraints women face that make financial planning very difficult.
“It’s often about achieving balance in your life so you have the space to put your financial goals in place,” she says.
A recent report by American Express highlighted the fact that women are the driving force behind business at the moment and as such need more attention than they are currently warranted.
In a bid to explore this issue, Majbritt’s workshop will look at all the main financial issues facing women, including the pitfalls, techniques to implement a financial plan plus case studies.
“I am confident that the growing success of women in business underlines the need for Guardian Wealth Management’s particular brand of Lifestyle Financial Planning. Working in the international arena brings with it many positives such as a higher earning salary and tax incentives so it is important that women receive the right guidance and information to help them capitalise on their increased income and prepare them for the future.”
