Expat Expo Geneva
Guardian Wealth Management has featured in all 5 of the annually held Expat-Expo in Geneva, held at the Palexpo centre.
Expat-Expo is a one-day, admission-free event designed for the English-speaking residents of Switzerland. There are currently annual expos in Zürich, Geneva, Basel, Lucerne and Zug, with over 400 different companies exhibiting and the event attracting over 12,000 visitors per year.
Guardian Wealth Management has featured every year since the launch and has found it an excellent way to introduce our business to the Swiss international community.
Many expats have since become clients of Guardian Wealth Management and have benefited from regular reviews of their financial circumstances which tend to change on a regular basis. This has been even more important during the recent financial crisis, during which Guardian Wealth Management actually grew as a company and bucked market trends as more people looked for professional advice as to how to manage their personal finances in a declining and volatile Market place.
Integrating into a new country can be a daunting process for anyone and Expat-Expo is designed to help the Anglophone community feel quickly at home by showcasing a wide variety of businesses, organisations, museums, clubs and churches from all over Switzerland.
In the space of an afternoon, families can find important goods and services such as bankers, doctors, accountants and lawyers, schools and day-care, museums, clubs and churches, even specialty food items.
We believe this service contributes greatly to the successful integration of newly arrived families and veteran expats alike and reduces the stresses of integration for both expats and Swiss.
