David Howell Joins the Executive Committee of FEIFA (Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers)
Guardian Wealth Management is pleased to announce that our Group Chief Executive, David Howell, is now a member of the FEIFA (Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers) executive committee, an important organisation involved in upholding the highest ethical standards within the financial services industry.
Replacing previous FEIFA committee member David Driver, David Howell is looking forward to his new position and taking a more active role in the Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers, especially as the organisation reflects Guardian Wealth Management’s own commitment to providing a reliable service and the highest ethical standards to clients who are using financial advisers to help with their financial planning strategies.
David Howell said of the appointment :
“I am proud and honoured to have been appointed to the executive committee of FEIFA.
As a business Guardian Wealth Management has been a pioneering member of FEIFA and we have built our reputation on reliability and the highest ethical standards. I am looking forward to be able to take a more active part in the association in its aim to help grow the businesses of English-speaking IFAs in Europe.
At Guardian we are devoted to delivering a professional financial planning service for international workers and expatriate clients helping them create, preserve and pass on their wealth. We believe the industry must set itself benchmarks to ensure the quality of the financial advisers in the market and the advice they are giving is of the highest standard. We must ensure advisers are regulated in the jurisdictions in which they are giving advice and we must act to stop the carpetbaggers that have for so long undermined the reputation of the industry.
Clients seeking advice should be safe in the knowledge that the advisers from which they receive advice have the proper qualifications and experience to provide them with the best of service for their needs. This is where FEIFA as a kite mark for trusted, professional advice can play an important role.”
FEIFA – Upholding the Highest Ethical Standards within the Financial Services Industry
Guardian Wealth Management has long been involved in FEIFA and we have always looked to encourage the highest ethical standards within our industry – the importance of regulation and benchmarks for service can’t be underestimated, and as financial advisers, we all have a responsibility to try and stamp out the unethical practices as adopted by the ‘carpetbaggers’ that cause such damage and bring the name of financial services into ill-repute.
Anybody approaching a financial adviser should be able to enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that they will be treated in accordance to the highest ethical standards and that the advisers they use are qualified and regulated in each jurisdiction that they offer their services from. The Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers (FEIFA) represents the collective thoughts of reputable advisers within the sector and works with the regulatory authorities to ensure that the highest ethical standards that are so vital are supported and maintained.
Supporting the Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers
With the increased involvement of David Howell in the work of the Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers (FEIFA), we hope to continue to highlight the client’s rights to the highest ethical standards that genuine independent advisers work so tirelessly to deliver.
When working with the financial advisers at Guardian Wealth Management, you can be certain that these standards will always be met. To us, second best is never good enough, so we treat all of our clients with the respect and honesty that they deserve as unique individuals.
